General Manager

Position Overview

General Manager responsible for overall restaurant operation including food production, guest service, crew and manager work, people processes, inventory, budgeting, food safety, and overall operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the experience: manage all aspects within the restaurant, including food production, guest service and experience, and direct crew and manager work.
• Plan for success: proactively lead and manage all people processes including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, staffing, performance management, training, coaching, and motivation.
• Make critical business decisions around inventory, budget, and food ordering/costs.
• Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence.
• Maintain high standards for guest and employee safety, and inspire and empower staff.
• Oversee all operational needs, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs.
• Capability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
