We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our BelAir Cantina team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys being present in the restaurant, developing people, and creating a workplace where team members and guests genuinely want to return.As General Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the success of the restaurant, including:Leading, coaching, and developing the restaurant management and hourly teamsCreating a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace cultureDelivering exceptional hospitality and consistently high food and beverage standardsRecruiting, training, scheduling, and retaining great team membersManaging labor, food costs, inventory, sales, and other key performance measuresMaintaining restaurant cleanliness, safety, licensing, and operational complianceAddressing guest concerns promptly and professionallyPartnering with company leadership to achieve restaurant and company goalsConducting weekly management meetings and communicating clear prioritiesSupporting other restaurant locations when occasional business needs ariseOur ideal candidate is a confident and approachable leader who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and knows how to bring out the best in a team.
Qualifications include:At least three years of restaurant management experience; General Manager experience preferredStrong leadership, coaching, and team-development skillsExperience managing restaurant financial performance, including labor and food costsExcellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plusMust be at least 21 years oldReliable transportationBilingual skills are a plusA current Wisconsin Food Manager Certification and local operator's license are preferred.
