BattleGR is West Michigan's premier entertainment and event venue, specializing in unforgettable corporate events, team building, birthday parties, fundraisers, school events, and social gatherings. We combine hospitality, entertainment, food & beverage, and exceptional customer service to create experiences people remember.

We're looking for a hands-on General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading people, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. Every day is different, and we're looking for someone who embraces that challenge.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coach a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Oversee the daily operations of our entertainment venue and event center.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor costs.
• Ensure events run smoothly from setup through completion.
• Coach, motivate, and develop employees while maintaining accountability.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and create positive resolutions.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and event execution.
• Monitor inventory and operational supplies.
• Work closely with ownership to improve systems and grow the business.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of leadership or management experience in hospitality, entertainment, events, restaurants, hotels, recreation, or a related industry.
• A servant leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by our event schedule.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and be active throughout the day.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $50,000–$55,000 annually (based on experience)
• Performance bonus opportunities
• Full-time (typically 35–45 hours per week)
