Business Strategy And OperationsSet team and regional goals, and ensure policies, procedures, and performance standards are aligned with organizational strategy; address and resolve operational issues.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, business development, and strong customer relationships.Ensure timely, high-quality team deliverables and alignment with company processes, policies, and standards.Collaborate across the organization and participate in strategic planning.People Leadership And CultureLead division staffing and personnel management, including performance reviews, role definition, and conflict resolution.Partner with Human Capital to recruit, hire, train, mentor, and develop team members; support career growth through ongoing training and education.Foster the company culture and maintain a strong, consistent safety environment.Financial And Sales ManagementReview and manage monthly financial performance, including receivables and budget adherence.Prepare the team for monthly project reviews; develop annual financial plans, budgets, and P&L forecasts.Set and achieve annual sales goals through new project awards, customer satisfaction, and strategic sales messaging.Labor RelationsMaintain strong relationships with local unions, engaging regularly with union officials.Act as division representative in union negotiations, disputes, grievances, and disciplinary hearings.Ensure adherence to labor agreements; oversee the "Reasonable Suspicion" program and related compliance matters.Evaluate union complaints and advise leadership on contract administration and disciplinary processes.Additional ResponsibilitiesOversee building maintenance and repairs.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For In You10+yrs of construction Project Management experience10+yrs of strong understanding of mechanical systems including design and operations10+yrs of leadership and teambuilding experience including a proven ability to coach, train and motivate employees10+yrs Business administration and management principles including, but not limited to:Company operations and financialsCustomer relationsBusiness development and project sales strategiesLegal aspects of construction industryYour life at HarrisAs one of the country's leading mechanical contractors, Harris offers you the best of both worlds: the stability, resources and opportunities of a national company, and the team culture, creative spirit and customer loyalty of a local business.
