About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead front and back of house operations for the revival of an iconic LA institution alongside a Celebrity Chef & Experienced FOH ownership team.
The GM owns the guest experience, financial performance, and team culture — setting the standard for hospitality while driving profitability in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent execution of service, quality, and cleanliness standards
  • Own P&L performance, including labor cost, COGS, and budget management; deliver on revenue and margin targets
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop management and hourly staff; build a strong bench of future leaders
  • Maintain guest satisfaction through hands-on floor presence, VIP relations, and swift resolution of service issues
  • Partner with the Executive Chef on menu execution, food cost control, and kitchen-FOH coordination
  • Ensure compliance with California health, safety, labor, and alcohol service regulations (ABC licensing, ServSafe, meal/rest break law)
  • Manage vendor relationships, inventory, and ordering
  • Drive team performance through coaching, performance reviews, and accountability standards
  • Support marketing and community initiatives, including private events and reservations management
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience, including 2+ years as a GM or AGM in an upscale or fine dining setting
  • Proven track record managing P&L, labor, and food cost in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of California labor law, health code, and ABC alcohol regulations
  • Experience with reservation and POS systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, Toast, Aloha)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and guest-relations skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler and ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification required
