ABOUT THE ROLE

The General Manager will oversee all day‑to‑day operations of a circa 700,000 SF shopping center in Southern California. Reporting to senior regional leadership, you will drive operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, financial performance and capital project execution. Working closely with ownership, retailers, contractors and community stakeholders, you’ll ensure the asset remains a leading retail destination while supporting long‑term business objectives and revenue growth.

DUTIES

• Lead all shopping center operations and site performance
• Manage property budgets, forecasts and reporting
• Drive tenant relations and customer experience
• Oversee vendors, contracts and service delivery
• Execute capital projects and property improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Support leasing initiatives and retailer performance
• Monitor NOI, expenses and operating efficiencies
• Build relationships with ownership and stakeholders
• Develop, mentor and lead on‑site teams

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience managing regional malls or retail centers
• Background in retail property management leadership
• Strong financial, budgeting and reporting skills
• Track record improving asset performance
• Knowledge of vendor, contract and project management
• Proficiency with property management systems
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
