General Manager

Sushi Noz, a Michelin two star, Omakase restaurant in NYC, will open our beautiful new Sushi Noz LA, in the Century City neighbor hood at the end of this year. 
We are seeking an exceptional General Manager with experience in a highly acclaimed Omakase restaurants in the US or abroad to lead FOH operations and service at  Sushi Noz LA.   
We are ready to hire as soon as September to allow time for training in New York prior to our opening
The General Manager will work in collaboration and with our Director of Service and with the support from our Head Chef and also at the direction of Chef Noz and the culinary team to execute a fresh, world class Omakase experience for discerning guests in our beautiful new LA location in the Century City neighborhood.
The role requires:

• Knowledge and experience working at an acclaimed Omakase location. 
• Must have a history of succes.s in managing a profitable buisness and developing a loyal clientele
• Must have experience managing the FOH, costs, service, hiring, training & development & employee relations.
• Understanding and leading in the model of omotenashi service toward the team and guests. 
• Open, full-time availability, typically a 5 day workweek. 
• Must be willing to travel to New York for training as required. 
• Ability to speak Japanese and understanding of Japanese culture is a plus. 

Physical Requirements:

• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Position requires flexibility to work all hours as required
