General Manager
The ideal candidate will be an experienced private club leader with strong financial management skills, exceptional hospitality standards, and a collaborative leadership style. They will oversee daily Club operations, develop a high-performing management team, enhance the member experience, and work closely with the Board of Governors on strategic planning and capital improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction across all Club departments
- Oversee daily operations, financial performance, and budgeting
- Strengthen food and beverage operations and service standards
- Recruit, mentor, and develop management teams and employees
- Ensure exceptional member service, engagement, and satisfaction
- Partner with the Board on strategic planning and capital improvements
- Support membership growth, retention, and programming initiatives
Qualifications
- Ideally, six or more years of progressive private club management experience
- General Manager or senior club management experience; accomplished Assistant General Managers and Assistant Club Managers will also be considered
- Strong food and beverage operations and hospitality leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Experience managing operating budgets, financial reporting, and capital planning
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Boards and committees
- College degree preferred
