We are hiring a General Manager to lead and launch our newest dispensary in Long Beach, scheduled to open in Quarter 4 of 2026.The General Manager will be responsible for overall store performance, team leadership, operations, compliance, and customer experience.The ideal candidate is a seasoned cannabis retail leader with strong business acumen, a compliance mindset, and a passion for building teams that deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the store team and guide daily dispensary operations
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and regulatory requirements
- Drive sales goals, manage budgets, and optimize store profitability
- Recruit, train, supervise, and develop staff to achieve high performance
- Oversee inventory management, loss prevention, and operational workflows
- Deliver exceptional customer service and cultivate a culture of professionalism
- Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and reporting
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of cannabis retail management experience, including P&L accountability
- Proven leadership in hiring, training, and coaching retail teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Deep knowledge of cannabis compliance requirements in California
- Experience with POS systems, inventory software, and retail metrics
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, evolving retail environment
- Reliable attendance and commitment to on-site leadership
- Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $95,000 per year (depending on experience)
