Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay rate: $19.25 with eligibility for performance bonuses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage overall store performance to meet or exceed company standards.
  • Coach, lead, and develop all team members to build new business and increase store growth through training on systems, account management, recovery, and performance reporting.
  • Lead local marketing strategies, partner opportunities, referrals, and community events to drive revenue.
  • Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and related transactions, assessing risk within established limits.
  • Enforce quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws; participate in audits and compliance reviews.
  • Supervise and maintain office security, cash management, loss prevention, and documentation of cash variances, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses.
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures and train staff on keyholder duties.
  • Participate in hiring, retention, and review of new employees.
  • Develop work schedules according to budget, workloads, and store needs.
  • Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
  • Maintain store appearance, schedule maintenance, display marketing materials, and perform on‑site vehicle appraisals and external marketing tasks as needed.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple tasks to meet performance standards.
  • Maintain a full‑time work schedule with regular in‑person attendance, including weekends; minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Store hours and minimum hours may change; discuss requirements with recruiter.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail, finance, service, or related industry.
  • Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with phones, point of sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for the workday (mileage compensated).
  • Minimum age 18 (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required and considered in accordance with applicable law.
  • Ability to meet physical demands: standing up to 90% of the time, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred and may be required for certain locations.
