General Manager

We’re looking for a General Manager to take ownership of a small, established manufacturing business in West Tennessee.

This is a true player-coach role. You’ll own the operation from top to bottom—people, production, purchasing, quality, equipment, customers, and the P&L.

We’re looking for someone who can step into a small business, get close to the operation, figure out what needs to improve, and then make it happen.

What You’ll Own:

• Lead, develop, and hold the team accountable
• Own the P&L and overall performance of the business
• Drive production, throughput, scheduling, and on-time delivery
• Identify bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency
• Oversee purchasing, vendors, inventory, and supply chain
• Own quality, safety, and equipment reliability
• Work directly with key customers and support commercial growth
• Build better systems, processes, and operating rhythms
• Lead from the floor—not from behind a desk

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience leading a manufacturing operation
• P&L or full cost accountability
• Strong operational and project management ability
• Hands‑on purchasing and vendor management experience
• Comfortable in a smaller company where you have to wear multiple hats
• Direct leadership style with the ability to set expectations and hold people accountable
• Willing to relocate to or commute to the Jackson / Bradford, TN area

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to run the operation , not just manage one piece of it.

Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 base + bonus
