Position Overview
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM works with leadership to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, follow up on progress, and provide coaching to improve their departments.
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future team.
- Ensure the restaurant meets all standard operating procedures and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
