Responsibilities
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring that the restaurant meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
The General Manager works with their leader to set the restaurant's goals and creates a plan to achieve those goals.
They lead a team of Department Managers, helping each to set their own goals, follow up on progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their departments, thereby improving the overall restaurant.
The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations. A background in quick-service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail.
Applicants must be 18 years or older to hold a managerial position.
