Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and sales-driven General Manager to lead our Dallas showroom. This role blends leadership with frontline sales responsibility and requires an individual who thrives in a client-facing, high-design environment. You will be accountable for achieving sales targets, developing client relationships, managing daily operations, and inspiring a team of sales professionals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the top-producing sales leader, consistently exceeding personal and showroom sales goals.
- Build strong relationships with both Trade and End User clients through proactive outreach, in-store experiences, and design consultations.
- Set the example as the Harbour Flagship in brand and client experience.
- Lead, coach, and inspire the showroom team to achieve individual sales and collective performance targets.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, sales training, and performance evaluations to support team growth.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and design-driven culture.
- Oversee day-to-day showroom operations including merchandising, inventory accuracy, and presentation standards.
- Partner with VP of Retail on staffing, reporting, and showroom initiatives.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, safety, and brand aesthetic at all times.
- Develop and implement local strategies to increase foot traffic and client engagement.
- Represent the Harbour brand at events, trade shows, and design community functions.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales and operational decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury retail, interior design, or high-end furnishings, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of the design trade and retail showroom operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and clienteling skills.
- Passion for design, architecture, and the luxury lifestyle market.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, POS platforms, and inventory management tools.
