Role Description
The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cumming, GA, overseeing daily operations of a Meadowbrook quick-serve restaurant location. The General Manager is responsible for leading and developing team members, managing scheduling, and ensuring high standards of guest service, food quality, and cleanliness. This role includes monitoring financial performance, controlling labor and inventory costs, and executing marketing and promotional initiatives. The General Manager will implement company policies, uphold safety and compliance standards, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture consistent with Meadowbrook's servant leadership philosophy. The position also involves regular communication with senior leadership, reporting on performance metrics, and contributing ideas to support growth and operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or retail management, including responsibility for daily operations, staffing, and guest service.
- Skills in team leadership, coaching, performance management, and fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and oversee inventory, cost control, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and company leadership, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of food safety, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance; previous quick-serve or hospitality experience is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with basic technology tools, such as point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, and standard office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality, or management is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to stand, move, and lift items as needed in a restaurant environment.
