Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our automotive business toward continued growth and success.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational knowledge, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to develop high-performing teams. This position will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, managing day-to-day operations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring the location operates safely and efficiently.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of automotive industry experience, with previous management or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the automotive location.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop team members while promoting accountability and high performance.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, productivity, and overall business performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve results.
- Manage budgets, expenses, labor costs, and overall financial performance.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and promptly resolve escalated customer concerns.
- Oversee inventory levels, purchasing needs, and vendor relationships.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, processes, and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable automotive industry regulations.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and team-oriented work environment.
- Partner with ownership and leadership on business goals, staffing needs, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Previous management, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred.
- Proven ability to successfully manage teams and day-to-day business operations.
- Strong sales and customer service background.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive retail, collision repair, service center, dealership, or automotive parts management experience.
- Experience managing or working directly with P&L responsibilities, budgets, and financial performance.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and automotive software.
- Experience developing teams, improving operational processes, and driving business growth.
