Commercial Plumbing Contractor Seeks General / Branch ManagerA growing commercial plumbing contractor is seeking a General / Branch Manager to lead and oversee the service division. This role is responsible for managing technicians, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring service work is delivered efficiently while maintaining strong customer relationships.This is a hands-on leadership role best suited for someone who has come up through the field and has experience running a service department, not just dispatching or coordinating.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations of the plumbing service departmentManage and support service technicians across repair, maintenance, and installation workCoordinate scheduling with dispatch to ensure efficient routing and workload distributionMonitor technician performance, productivity, and quality of workConduct training, coaching, and performance reviews for field staffMaintain strong communication with customers, vendors, and internal teamsReview work orders, invoices, and job costing to ensure accuracy and profitabilityManage department budgets, labor, and overall performanceSupport service agreement growth and identify new opportunities with existing clientsEnsure safety standards and company policies are followed across all service operationsOversee service vehicles, tools, and inventory managementRequirements5+ years of experience in plumbing service management or operationsBackground as a Service Technician who has moved into leadership preferredStrong understanding of plumbing systems, service workflows, and customer expectationsExperience managing technicians and field operationsAbility to manage a smaller, tight-knit team environmentStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and service software systemsValid driver's license with clean recordCompensation & BenefitsCompany vehicle or allowance + gas cardMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and PTOLong-term growth within a stable service division
