John Evans Recruiting is representing a commercial water filtration services company in Baltimore in their search for a General Manager to oversee a 20-person operations department. The General Manager will report into the Chief Operating Officer of this 33-employee, family-owned company.
Our client has been in business for decades with an outstanding reputation in the Mid-Atlantic. This organization purifies water for commercial customers in the MD/DC/VA/DE/PA region, to include major hospitals, universities, and research facilities.
The General Manager will oversee field service technicians, install technicians, and other operations team members on the road and at the Baltimore HQ.
Requirements:
- Experience leading operations or field technician teams in a water, chemical, HVAC, mechanical, industrial, or facilities equipment services company.
- Ability to be in the Baltimore office 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
- Ability to be out in the field as needed to support customers and technicians.
- Willingness to be hands-on in day-to-day field and internal operations.
- Strengths in coaching and developing staff.
- Strategic mindset.
