Trademark Aviation is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our new maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility at Pitt–Greenville Airport in Greenville, North Carolina.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished aviation maintenance professional who understands that safety, integrity, customer service, and taking care of people are the foundations of a successful MRO operation.
The General Manager will be responsible for launching and managing the facility, developing a high-performing team, maintaining regulatory compliance, building strong customer relationships, and creating a culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the startup and ongoing operation of Trademark Aviation’s Greenville MRO facility
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of aviation maintenance professionals
- Establish a safety-first culture in which quality and airworthiness are never compromised
- Oversee maintenance scheduling, staffing, productivity, quality control, and customer communication
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and applicable Part 145 requirements
- Manage operating budgets, labor utilization, parts, tooling, vendors, and facility resources
- Develop relationships with aircraft owners, operators, corporate flight departments, and aviation partners
- Support the growth of piston, turboprop, jet, and avionics maintenance services
- Lead by example and make decisions based on integrity, safety, and what is right for the customer and the team
- Build a “people over profits” culture while maintaining a financially responsible and sustainable operation
Required Qualifications
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
- Current Inspection Authorization
- At least 10 years of business or organizational leadership experience
- At least five years of leadership experience within aviation
- Previous experience managing an MRO, FAA Part 145 repair station, or aviation service business
- Prior responsibility for leading a team of more than five employees
- Strong working knowledge of aircraft maintenance regulations, documentation, quality control, and liability
- Hands-on knowledge of piston, turboprop, and turbofan aircraft
- PT6 engine, King Air, and Citation maintenance experience
- Avionics knowledge, with a strong emphasis on Garmin systems
- Proven ability to build teams, develop employees, manage customers, and grow an aviation operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Military aviation or leadership background
- Pilot certificate or flight instructor certificate
- Experience opening, expanding, or turning around an aviation maintenance facility
- Strong relationships within the general aviation, corporate aviation, or MRO communities
