Job Description

Air Land Transport, Inc. is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven General Manager to oversee daily business operations, administrative functions, and operational efficiency at our Anchorage location. The General Manager will play a critical leadership role in driving operational performance, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting overall company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee daily administrative and logistical operations to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise administrative and operational staff, fostering a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment.

Financial & Resource Management: Assist in budget preparation, cost control, operational forecasting, and resource allocation to meet key business targets.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5+ years of operational or managerial leadership experience, preferably within transportation, freight, logistics, or supply chain industries.

Leadership: Strong track record in team leadership, decision-making, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal capabilities.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with logistics/transportation management software, MS Excel.

Problem-Solving: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry safety standards, local regulations, and transportation safety guidelines.

Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement streamlined processes, software tools, and best management practices.

Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with fleet management, dispatch, sales, and senior management to align company strategy and client expectations.
