General Manager

As the General Manager at Rebel Road Hot Rod Garage, you will be responsible for leading the overall performance, growth, and success of the shop. This position requires a balance of operational excellence, leadership, and strategic vision to ensure that every project meets our high standards while driving profitability and long-term expansion. You will be the bridge between ownership, staff, and clients—setting the tone for shop culture, financial results, and customer satisfaction.

Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff across all departments, fostering a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and customer care.
• Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day shop operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with company goals.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgets, track KPIs, monitor profitability, and control costs to ensure sustainable growth.
• Client Experience: Ensure a premium customer journey by maintaining clear communication, transparency, and exceptional service throughout each project.
• Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for business expansion, new revenue streams, and operational improvements to prepare for multi-location growth.
• Vendor & Partner Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and industry partners to support long-term business success.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure the shop adheres to safety, labor, and environmental regulations while upholding Rebel Road’s quality standards.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Shop profitability and revenue growth year over year.
• Achievement of production vs. billed hour goals.
• Client satisfaction and repeat business rates.
• Employee retention, development, and performance.
• Efficiency metrics: project completion timelines, reduced downtime, and cost control.
• Successful implementation of strategic initiatives toward expansion.

Requirements

• Proven Leadership: 5+ years in automotive, restoration, or related industry management.
• Business Acumen: Strong financial, operational, and organizational skills with a track record of driving profitable growth.
• Passion for Classic Cars: Deep appreciation for automotive history, restoration craftsmanship, and innovation.
