Essential Functions / Skills
Accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide; provide correct monetary change.
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
Motor coordination for fast, accurate work with speed.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigate maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions
Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when outside.
Store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+.
Sudden temperature changes while inside and outside.
Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F+.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
Stand for most tasks, walking short distances and traveling between store and delivery vehicle.
Sitting for paperwork at a desk.
Lifting up to 50 pounds and stacking onto shelves up to 72″ high.
Carrying items such as large cans, pizza sauce, and pizza dough trays.
Pushing or pulling trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
Climb stairs or ladders occasionally; navigate five or more flights during delivery.
Scooping, cleaning, and reaching tasks at various heights.
Drive within a designated delivery area; valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle.
