About the Job

We are seeking a leader who can manage the day‑to‑day operations of our store. This role requires strong judgment, basic math skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Job Requirements and Duties

As store manager you are responsible for:

• Cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, food management, scheduling, maintaining store cleanliness, and marketing.
• Ensuring adherence to standards and providing excellent customer service.
• Attendance, punctuality, and transportation to and from work.

Future Advancement

Assistant managers may progress to general manager, franchise owner, or corporate positions.

General Job Duties for Store Team Members

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients and manage inventory.
• Prepare products and process telephone orders.
• Maintain daily cleaning of equipment and facility.

Training

Orientation and on‑the‑job training is provided.

Communication Skills

• Understand and give clear written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over phone and in person.

Essential Functions / Skills

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Process orders via computer or touch screen.
• Read maps and navigate within designated delivery area.
• Drive safely and carry delivery items.

Work Conditions

• Exposed to varying weather conditions, temperature changes, food odors, and cornmeal dust.
• Work in cramped areas such as a walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
• Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp edges.

Sensing and Physical Requirements

Standing: Most tasks are performed standing on tile/linoleum floors. Walking: travel between store, delivery vehicle, and customers. Lifting: move ingredient cases up to 50 lbs. Carrying: handle delivery luggage up to 30 lbs. Pushing: move trays on dollies up to 7.5 lbs. Climbing: navigate stairs or ladders when needed.

Driving Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Access to a vehicle insured for delivery.
