JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must set the example, follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew. In addition, you will:

• Staff the store
• Handle paperwork
• Maintain cost controls and cash control
• Manage food inventory and preparation
• Work to a schedule
• Maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards
• Provide great customer service
• Maintain attendance and punctuality
• Provide transportation to/from work
• Maintain store cleanliness

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS

• Operate all equipment and stock ingredients.
• Prepare product and receive processed telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Receive training and provide orientation training to new team members.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Navigate to delivery addresses, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
• Maintain speed and precision while operating with motor coordination between eyes and hands.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions while performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to above 90 degrees.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
