Job Duties – Store Operations

Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions & Skills

Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change; handle verbal, written, and telephone instructions; coordinate motor movements with hands and fingers for precise tasks; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

Exposure to variable weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to over 90°F in some work areas with sudden changes. Work may involve fumes from food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters including a walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

Talk and hear on the telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

Physical Demands

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum in food processing areas.
• Walking: Performed over short distances for short durations.
• Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 60 pounds; items placed on shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans and pizza sauce; trays of pizza dough up to 12 pounds each.
• Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies requiring 7.5‑pound effort.
• Climbing: Occasional stairs or ladder use for maintenance.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the pizza assembly station for 30‑45 seconds continuously during the day.

Job Duties – Delivery Operations

Deliver product by car and to customer doors. Deliver flyers, doorhangers, and marketing materials. Requires a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Navigational skills needed to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.

Physical Demands – Delivery Operations

• CARRYING: Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing.
• DRIVING: Deliver company products within a designated area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• WALKING: Travel between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
• CLIMBING: Navigate five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.

Work Conditions – Delivery

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering products, driving, and couponing. Requires far vision and night vision for driving.
