JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

TRAINING

Orientation and training provided on the job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SKILLS

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; motor coordination required for rapid and accurate movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to: Varying weather, temperature extremes, fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts.

Sensing: Talking, hearing, vision (near, mid‑range, far), night vision for driving, ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing: Most tasks performed while standing; surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum. Height of work surfaces 36" - 48".
• Walking: For short distances and durations. Delivery personnel travel between store and vehicle and customer's location.
• Seating: Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb, 3' x 1.5") loaded by hand truck.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), dough trays (12 lb each – three at a time).
• Pushing: Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb.
• Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders; during delivery stairs may be >5 flights.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at pizza assembly and front counter; time for 30-45 s repeated.
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously up/down/forward; above 72" to turn on/off oven controls.
• Driving: Deliver pizzas within designated area; multiple per shift.
• Tools & equipment: Use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter and peel.
• Driving specific duties: Deliver product by car to customer doorstep and distribute flyers.
• Requirements: Valid driver's license, safe driving record, insured vehicle.
