We are seeking an experienced general manager to lead one of our store locations. The role involves overseeing all store operations, ensuring best practices in cost control, customer service, and staff management. You will set the example, enforce policies, and drive profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

General job duties for all store team members

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training

Orientation and job‑site training provided.

Communication Skills

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
• Make correct monetary change.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F (cooler) to 90°F+ in some areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.

• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Deliver product by car to customers and deliver flyers and door hangers.

REQUIRES

• Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle available for deliveries.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Carrying, driving, walking, and climbing, including navigation of five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
