Store Management

General Managers are the backbone of the business. They handle all aspects of running a Domino’s Pizza store, including leading the team, setting high standards for customer service, and maintaining exceptional product quality.

Our Management Development Program allows store managers to apply for franchising opportunities. Those who have successfully managed a store for at least one year are eligible to apply for a franchise. Careers within the corporation also include Trainer or Regional Manager positions.

General Managers are paid a salary of $1,275.00 per month, with bonuses and incentives based on store profitability and overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Strong team leadership, organization, and time‑management skills.
  • Capability to multitask, be flexible, and handle a minimum of five closing nights a week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Effective motivational and training abilities.
  • Proficiency in employee scheduling, store food ordering, inventory maintenance, and maintaining proper employee image.
  • Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to resolve customer concerns.
  • Compliance with Domino’s policies and ability to answer all store calls after the first ring.

Physical Requirements

Standing : Most tasks are performed standing; work surfaces range from 36” to 48” high.

Walking : Delivery personnel travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.

Lifting : Bulk deliveries up to 50 pounds are unloaded with a hand truck; items may be stacked up to 72” high.

Carrying : Items such as large cans (3‑lb) and pizza sauce (30 lb) are carried short distances; trays weighing ~12 lb are carried three at a time.

Pushing & Pulling : Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 pounds of force; trays may also be pulled.

Climbing : Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders, bending at waist for assembly, and standing in stoops or front counters are required.

Crouching/Squatting : Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.

Reaching : Continuous reaching up, down, and forward, including above 72” for oven controls and price changes.

Tools & Equipment : Use of pencils, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutters, and pizza peel.
