Overview
You were born to be the boss. Domino’s Pizza is hiring bosses – more specifically, General Managers. It’s a tough job that requires judgment, math, and the ability to multi‑task.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage everything that happens during the shift, including cost control, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
- Perform all duties of the Customer Services Representative and Delivery Driver.
- Oversee a staff of 3 to 30 employees during your scheduled shift.
- Handle all store operations and set the tone and example for the store.
- Greet customers and take orders with a smile; answer the phone and make quick, accurate, and consistent products while complying with portion sizes, recipes, and baking procedures.
- Operate the cash register, collect payment, and make correct monetary change.
- Deliver products by vehicle from the store to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store from front to back.
- Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with Domino’s Pizza Grooming Standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience leading a team, managing staff of 3 to 30 people, and motivating them to work efficiently.
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check; access to a reliable, insured vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong role‑model qualities – punctuality, positive attitude, and high personal standards in dress and behavior.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work when the team needs you most; stores are open 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
- At least 18 years old.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and the ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
- Motor coordination and quick, accurate manual dexterity for food preparation and handling.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying weather conditions when removing trash or performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F or higher in food preparation areas.
- Contact with fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Work in cramped quarters, walk‑in coolers, and around hot surfaces or tools up to 500°F.
- Repeated lifting of bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds and handling of cases up to 72 inches high.
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting while completing paperwork.
