General Maintenance Technician (Apartment Community)This role focuses on completing general work orders, preventative maintenance support, and unit turn/make-ready tasks. This position is ideal for a technician who can handle day-to-day apartment maintenance items; EPA/HVAC certification is not required (but is a plus). You'll work closely with the Lead Technician and/or Maintenance Manager to keep the community running smoothly.Pay: $21–$22/hr (Once hired, pay is negotiated)Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm (On-call required once hired FT)ResponsibilitiesComplete general work orders/service requests in occupied and vacant unitsPerform basic repairs in:Plumbing (minor leaks, clogs, toilet/fixture replacements)Electrical (light fixtures, switches, outlets; basic troubleshooting)Appliance support (basic diagnostics, minor repairs, replacements)Carpentry/drywall (patching, door hardware, blinds, shelving)Painting and touch-upsSupport unit turns / make-ready (punch work, cleaning prep, minor repairs, final checks)Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs) as assignedMaintain a safe, clean work area and follow property safety proceduresCommunicate status updates clearly with the maintenance team and property managementRequired Qualifications (Must Have)1+ year experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or general handyman/repair workAbility to complete work order tickets efficiently and professionallyBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry/paintingMust provide own basic hand toolsMust have two forms of ID for employment eligibilityDress code: khaki pants or blue jeans + clean solid-color shirtPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Any exposure to HVAC (filter changes, thermostat swaps, basic troubleshooting)EPA Universal (EPA 608) or HVAC certification (not required)Experience with make-ready/turns and preventative maintenance schedulesFamiliarity with work order systems (Yardi, RealPage, Onesite, Entrata, etc.)Bilingual (English/Spanish)Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) Integra Staffing Inc.
