The firm is known for its collaborative culture, reasonable workload expectations, and commitment to professional development.The OpportunityThe successful candidate will handle complex litigation matters through all phases of the litigation lifecycle while working closely with partners, senior attorneys, and clients.

Responsibilities:Manage matters from pre-litigation strategy through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responsesPrepare and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including demurrers and motions for summary judgmentConduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on complex business disputesTake and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for hearings and trialAttend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and case management conferencesAssist with trial preparation, including expert coordination, witness outlines, and exhibit preparationCollaborate directly with clients and litigation teams to develop effective case strategiesQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive California bar membership in good standing2-6 years of complex general litigation experienceExperience drafting and arguing substantive motionsStrong deposition, discovery, and case management skillsTrial experience preferredExceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skillsAbility to independently manage multiple matters and deadlinesWhy Consider This Opportunity?Compensation ranging from $160,000-$210,000Hybrid schedule available after onboardingSophisticated litigation matters and direct client exposureMeaningful responsibility from day oneMentorship from experienced litigators and trial lawyersCollaborative and supportive cultureStrong commitment to work-life balanceExcellent long-term growth opportunitiesScheduleSacramento or San Francisco officeHybrid schedule after 90 days3 days in office and up to 2 days remote per weekFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
