This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable managing a meaningful caseload, thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, and is looking for a collaborative team with long-term growth potential.The position will begin fully in-office during the first month to support onboarding, training, and integration with the litigation team. Following the onboarding period, the role transitions into a hybrid schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of approximately 20–30 general liability defense mattersHandle all phases of litigation from case inception through resolutionDefend clients in general liability and civil litigation matters, including premises liability, personal injury, and related disputesDraft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documentsConduct legal research and prepare strategic case evaluationsTake and defend depositionsAttend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and settlement conferencesCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and claims representativesCollaborate with partners and support staff to develop litigation strategyQualifications3–8 years of general liability defense litigation experience preferredStrong civil litigation background with experience managing cases independentlyActive membership in the California State BarStrong writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with insurance carriers and claims professionals is a plusCompensation & BenefitsBase salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, depending on experienceHybrid work flexibility after initial onboarding periodOpportunity to work on sophisticated and active litigation mattersSupportive and collaborative team environment in a centrally located Downtown Los Angeles officeThis role is actively interviewing, and the firm is looking to hire as soon as possible.
