General Laborer / Technician

Any construction experience is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide restoration and recovery services on both residential and commercial lossesPerform water, fire, smoke damage, and mold remediation repairs as directed by supervisor to include (but not limited to): water extraction, mold abatement, pack-out of contents, content cleaning, light construction and demolitionSet up, monitor, and take down equipmentComplete assigned job tasks according to ServiceMaster processes while maintaining quality control and providing outstanding customer serviceDrive a company vehicle to jobsReport any customer problems or damage to supervisorReport equipment malfunctions to supervisorMay perform other cleaning duties when part of mitigation or restoration jobsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications & Physical DemandsHigh school graduate or equivalentReports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform and has a professional appearanceHave a valid driver's licenseMust be willing to work on-call shifts for emergency servicesGood communication skills and ability to talk to customers professionallyMove and/or lift 50+ poundsMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is requiredAbility to follow verbal and written instructions and to work within a teamFor safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your faceBe exposed to various outside and inside working conditions such as change in air conditioning or heatingAt ServiceMaster by Tate, we are an industry leader for providing disaster restoration and cleaning services in Kansas.
