A growing milling company in Madera is seeking hardworking and dependable General Laborers to support daily production operations. This position involves heavy lifting, material handling, packaging, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dusty industrial setting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Lift and stack bags, boxes, and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Assist machine operators with feeding materials into milling equipment.
- Package, label, palatalize, and prepare products for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of production, warehouse, and work areas.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and company safety procedures.
- Inspect products and report quality issues to supervisors.
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned to support production goals.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent heavy lifting and material handling.
- Continuous standing and walking during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and a dusty production environment.
- Repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and carrying.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Day, Swing, and/or Night shifts available
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
Pay Rate:
- Competitive pay, DOE (Depending on Experience)
