A company in Byron Center is looking for Production Associates
Shift:
day - Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4pm/some Fridays
night - Monday-Friday 4pm-3:30am
Pay: $15.00/hr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform production and processing tasks according to established procedures and work instructions.
- Safely handle, sort, package, label, and stage materials for shipment or processing.
- Operate basic production equipment, tools, and machinery as trained.
- Load and unload materials, products, and supplies.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and PPE requirements.
- Assist with inventory management and material tracking as needed.
- Identify and report operational issues, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions.
- Support production goals by meeting quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
