The Division of General Internal Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks full‑time non‑tenure‑eligible Clinician‑Educators at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities
Primary care practice with a special focus on complex medical weight loss at Northwestern Medicine on the Streeterville campus. Serve as medical director for the Bariatric Surgery program and collaborate with surgeons.
Engage in academic activities such as precepting medical students and residents in clinic, participating in inpatient teaching, undergraduate medical education activities, and possibly leading research activities or clinical trials as a clinical expert or co‑investigator. Involvement in academic activities will vary based on prior teaching experience.
Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine and Obesity board certified.
Compensation
Base pay range: $240,000 – $270,000. Start date negotiable; position remains open until filled.
