Job Duties and Expectations Include:Follows work instructions to perform tasks safely and consistentWork in all areas of the furnaceStarts with basic training on casting operationsMinimizes losses throughout processJob duties require lifting up to 50 poundsMonitor the operation of gauges dials or other indicators to make sure the machine is working properlyWill use cranes, forklifts and other material moving equipmentPhysical work in warm areasGood communication skills, mechanical aptitude are plus, problem solving skills is a plus, adaptability to various working conditions, and working in a teamSchedule works 12 hour rotating shifts, 14 shifts per month with every month 7 consecutive days off (1 week off every month).
