Advanced Gastroenterology Group (AGG) is seeking a General Gastroenterologist or Interventional Gastroenterologist for full‑time employment in Northern New Jersey.
AGG is a family‑oriented and growing practice with eight physicians. This is a unique opportunity for new and experienced physicians to join our team in Union, NJ, and satellite offices throughout central New Jersey. The position arises from ongoing growth and upcoming retirements over the next few years.
We are seeking either a general gastroenterologist or an interventional GI physician for a balanced mix of 70% general and 30% interventional procedures.
Position Details
- Work Schedule: Full partners work 4 days per week, with a typical day split between half‑day clinic and half‑day in the operating room or surgery center.
- Call Schedule: 1:8, with 1 weekday call per week and 8‑10 weekend calls per year during the first 2 years. Physicians will take a maximum of 5 weekend calls per year and can earn an additional $5,000 for weekends.
- Compensation: Competitive salary with RVU bonus structure. Associates can earn production bonuses, with discretionary bonuses in the first year and a structured bonus model in the second year.

Requirements
- Completion of a Gastroenterology Fellowship
- ABIM Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey (DEA and CDS required)

- Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
This position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with flexibility to float between our central NJ satellite offices.
