Position Type: Full Time
Schedule: 3 10‑hour shifts (30 hours per week) or 4 10‑hour shifts (40 hours per week)
Expected Hiring Range: $195,000 – $215,000 annually (based on 40 hours)
Position Summary
The General Dentist supports Willamette Dental’s evidence‑based treatment philosophy, mission, vision, and core values by performing the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state.
Education and Experience
Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Successful completion of a traditional pre‑doctoral dentistry program and valid licensure in the state(s) where practicing.
Licenses, Certifications and Registrations
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
Knowledge of
- Evidence‑based dental practices
- AxiUm electronic records and proper electronic documentation for all care provided to patients
- CAMBRA and PEMBRA, with an emphasis on prevention
- Risk phases and risk assessment
- Diagnostic terms and techniques needed to diagnose and treat oral cavity anomalies
- Principles and processes for providing customer and optimal patient experience, including patient needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of patient satisfaction
Compensation
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including education, job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the Company’s plan.

Physical Requirements
The work is primarily performed while sitting and/or standing. It will require occasional walking, bending, stooping, and carrying light items such as papers or other supplies. The incumbent uses a computer and other standard office equipment to complete tasks.
