Location: Rochester, NY

Position: Full-Time Permanent General Dentist

Patient Base: Primarily Adults

Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM


An established private dental practice in the Rochester, New York area is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist looking for a long-term position with an established patient base, experienced support staff, and the ability to provide a broad range of general dentistry.


Position Highlights
  • Full-Time, Permanent Opportunity
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Primarily adult patients , with few pediatric patients
  • Approximately 8-10 patients per day
  • Established patient base
  • Experienced support team
  • 2 Dental Assistants
  • Office Manager
  • Treatment Coordinator
  • 2 Hygienists
  • EMR/Practice Management System: XL Dent
  • Medicaid and Medicare patients accepted
  • Opportunity to perform advanced procedures and implants
  • Case-by-case referral options for procedures outside the dentist's scope
Clinical Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should be comfortable providing comprehensive general dentistry, including:

  • Fillings
  • Extractions
  • Root Canals
  • Basic restorative dentistry
  • Comprehensive general dentistry
  • Advanced procedures and implants, depending on experience
Compensation
  • Daily guarantee and/or percentage of collections - whichever is greater
  • Approximately 30-35% of collections
  • Compensation structure is negotiable based on experience and production
  • Sign-on bonus available - negotiable
  • Relocation assistance available - negotiable
Requirements
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active New York dental license
  • Ability to provide general dentistry independently
  • Comfortable treating primarily adult patients
  • Medicaid number is not currently required, although one may need to be obtained
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
