Overview
School Smiles On‑Site Dental is seeking a Part‑Time General Dentist to provide portable dental services to children in local schools throughout the Lansing, MI area. The position is 1–2 days per week, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a start date in the fall of 2026.
Compensation & Benefits
- 32% of billed production for days worked in schools
- Travel reimbursement
- 401(k) participation
- Sign‑on bonus: $2,000–$4,000
- Malpractice insurance provided by MAH
Duties
- Conduct initial screenings
- Perform comprehensive oral exams
- Establish treatment plans
- Administer fluoride treatments
- Apply sealants
- Provide prophylaxis (Prophy)
- Place fillings
- Perform simple extractions
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Dental License
- Current CPR certification for healthcare providers
- Proficiency in the duties listed above
- Medicaid certification or willingness to obtain it
- Willingness to travel within a 2‑hour radius
