Warren Recruiting’s client, private equity-backed chemicals company in search of a General Counsel to lead its Legal function. This is a high-impact executive role for an accomplished attorney seeking to join a growing and innovative organization in the chemical manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal leadership across all areas of the business
- Manage and negotiate mergers and acquisitions (M&A) , joint ventures, and other strategic transactions
- Draft and review complex commercial contracts and supply agreements
- Oversee corporate governance , compliance, and general corporate legal matters
- Support technology transfer initiatives, including licensing and intellectual property matters
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an leading law school and admission Texas state bar
- 10+ years of legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house counsel roles
- Strong background in M&A , contract negotiation, and corporate law
- Experience in the chemicals , manufacturing , or industrial sectors is preferred
- Familiarity with technology transfer and IP-related agreements is a plus
