Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of construction tasks on residential, commercial, and municipal projects. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction and maintenance projects.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare and clean construction sites before, during, and after projects.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and perform basic grading.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely.
- Install and remove barricades, traffic control devices, and temporary fencing as needed.
- Perform demolition, concrete work, and general site cleanup.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
