Sanford Health is seeking a skilled Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their comprehensive cardiac program. This role involves providing consultative services, performing various cardiac procedures, and contributing to a team of specialists. Practice Info
- Join a comprehensive cardiac program that includes a team of general cardiologists, interventionalists, EP, vascular and advanced practice providers
- Approximately 2,400 procedures a year, including 300 coronary interventions
- Clinic, inpatient consults, reading (echos, stress echos, EKGs, monitors, vascular ultrasound), procedures (TEEs, cardioversions)
- 3 cath labs
- 118 bed hospital; 14 bed ICU
- Level III trauma center
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide treatment or consultative services for adult patients presenting with diseases of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels
- Perform procedures including TEEs and cardioversions
- Conduct readings for echos, stress echos, EKGs, monitors, and vascular ultrasound
Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan
- Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $535,987 - $693,630 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Experience demonstrated by residency or fellowship log for recent graduates, or a quality profile from current hospitals showing clinical activity for the past 24 months for others
- Demonstrate active involvement of 100 cardiology procedures
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion of a fellowship in Cardiology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency
- Certification by the appropriate specialty /subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
