General Cardiologist – Cardio‑Obstetrics

Cleveland Clinic's Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute seeks a general cardiologist candidate with an interest in Cardio‑Obstetrics within our established and highly respected health system.

The position is multi‑faceted: (1) ensuring outpatient access for patients for cardiovascular care services, (2) providing timely diagnostic testing and hospital care, (3) supporting the delivery of the highest quality care and patient experience, and (4) expanding the Cardio‑Obstetrics service line to our western region. General cardiology roles include opportunities for outpatient and inpatient consultation, imaging interpretations, and procedural services in line with the candidate’s background and experience.

In addition to these vital general cardiology duties, we are seeking applicants interested in the cardiovascular care of pregnant patients. Our multidisciplinary Cardio‑Obstetrics team includes specialists in cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, cardiovascular surgery, anesthesia, and genetics. We evaluate and manage pregnant patients with heart disease throughout their pregnancy and delivery, and offer a Post‑partum Heart Clinic to manage cardiovascular risk in those with adverse pregnancy outcomes, including hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and gestational diabetes.

Candidates should be BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

Pay Range

Minimum salary: $428,000
Maximum salary: $639,000

The salary range displayed in this job posting reflects the anticipated salary range for new physicians hired into full‑time (100% FTE) positions. This range is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized compensation benchmarks by specialty. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.
