General Cardiologist

Overview

Position: BC/BE Cardiologist at Ascension Sacred Heart in Crestview, FL. Practice includes 10 physicians and 14 APPs. Schedule M-F with occasional weekend rounding, call 1:6. Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart. EMR: Athena/Cerner. Additional location: Pensacola (1‑2 days/week).

Responsibilities

Provide full‑scope cardiovascular services including structural heart and CVT surgery. Attend to patients in Crestview (2‑3 days/week) and Pensacola (1‑2 days/week) as required. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

Minimum Requirements

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed by the Florida Board of Medicine prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Board eligibility or certification in a medical specialty required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
