Position Overview
- Subspecialty: General or Noninvasive Cardiology
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, some weekends
- Night Call Rotation

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.
- Accept patient referrals, act as admitting/attending/consulting physician as required.
- Participate in academic programs (education and research) as requested.
- Provide documentation meeting insurance requirements; appeal denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient specialty consultations, including on‑call schedules.
Requirements
- Physician MD/DO credentialed by Florida Board of Medicine (before hire date or transfer).
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Education
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
