Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment, perform a series of operations to correctly produce and assemble parts.Duties/Responsibilities:Build /Assemble Swing Door System Components needed to meet customer demand.Assemble multiple door-system packages.Debur parts to specificationsPrepare packaging and boxing parts for shipping.Keep the work area clean and organized.Maintain accurate inventory levels with physical counts.Adjust inventory as needed with assembly BOMs.Use cold saw to cut aluminum extrusionInspect material for damage and proper thicknessArrange sawing sequences for optimum material usageArrange cut metal on skids for packagingDetermine and install proper blade size based on material type and sizeCheck and replenish fluid for lubrication systemCheck and remove chips from collection system if necessaryKnow Your Saw: Recognize operating irregularities and machine malfunctionsNotify team-leader and/or makes necessary adjustments or repairRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent task-oriented time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.Ability to function well in a high-paced, and at times stressful environment.Preferred ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.Experience with a variety of hand tools such as grinders, sanders, saws, drills, and routers.Use verniers, calipers, squares, rulers, and other measuring devices to maintain specifications and tolerancesExperience:+2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly production environmentPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing up and working on your feet.Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds at times.
