General AP/CP Pathologist opening in Bakersfield, CA - new grads welcome | no autopsies

Seeking BE/BC Pathologist to join talented team in Bakersfield, CA.

• New grads welcome!
• After hours and weekend call required, however that is usually very little to nothing.
• No autopsies
• Team of 2 other pathologists
• Yearly volume is approximately per pathologist
• Community hospital-based practice with supportive medical staff
• Broad mix of surgical pathology, cytology, and clinical pathology
• Subspecialty training or experience in breast and gynecological pathology and on site FNA of thyroid evaluation are preferred but not required
• Immunohistochemistry available
• Reasonable workload and collegial practice environment
• Excellent quality of life with lower cost of living compared with coastal California cities
