- The position is in the North Shore Anesthesia group which covers Covington ASC, Slidell East, and Slidell Main
- Coverage includes basic Peds, OB, and Cardiac
- Our North Shore program is a component of the Department of Anesthesiology, with a fully accredited residency program as well as multiple fellowship programs
- Ochsner's Department of Anesthesiology includes over 70 Anesthesiologists, 100 CRNA's, and >30 house staff, with an annual case volume of >52,000
- Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore is a full-service, 165-bed acute care hospital that includes a 24-hour emergency room and the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on the North Shore
Compensation
- Salary will be commensurate with training and experience
Qualifications
- Candidates must be BC/BE in Anesthesiology
- Physicians with experience or directly from training are welcomed to apply
- Must be comfortable working with community and Ochsner surgeons and proceduralists and capable of developing excellent medical staff relationships
- Requires a commitment to using comprehensive electronic medical records (Epic)
- Individuals who reside in and will work from the following areas are not eligible for remote work position: Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C.
